Doctor Mew (2021)

Doctor Who parody fanart. The Sixth Doctor got his hands full with their other TV selves as cats (including a Cat!Six?! Wibbly-wobbly)! Can you tell which is which Doctor Mew?~ 🐾

The Sixth incarnation of the Doctor is particularly fond of cats, and each Doctor has had a striking costume and character on our tv screens. Thus, I wanted to make an adorable tribute where I translated each TV Doctor into a cat version. Their actions and personalities showing through, of course.

Their various clothes and accessories turned into toys and collars. Each cat has their actor's eye colour. Each cat's fur corresponds their in-role hair colour, length and texture, while their markings often reference some aspect of their costumes. Except for McCoy, whose cheetah coat is a reference to the 1989 serial "Survival", featuring anthropomorphic cheetahs. The famous space and time ship, the TARDIS, is here turned into a cat tree, with the same lamp at the top, the blue and silver-white colours, and some hexagonal shapes that reference the ship's roundels.
