“Bemlan och Författaren” (The Bemble and the Author)

For my brother's partner's birthday, he commissioned me to portray the two of them in Moomin style, along with their two pet parrots, Klara (left) and Kookie (right). She was modeled after cup illustrations of the Mimble and he of the Poet, then modified to their likeness. The parrots' design I came up with myself, after studying the Moomin style.

I think the cutest part is how lovingly they all look at each other! :D
